On Monday, October 28th, join the Hemlock Restoration Initiative and the Blue Ridge Conservancy in treating hemlock trees to safeguard them against the invasive and deadly hemlock woolly adelgid.
This hemlock treatment will take place at the Valle Crucis Conference Center in Banner Elk, NC, a beautiful property with plenty of hemlocks that is protected by the Blue Ridge Conservancy. This is a great opportunity to learn how you can treat your own hemlocks, as well.
We will be treating hemlocks from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Please meet at Johnson Hall.
If you are interested in joining us, please fill out our volunteer sign-up form by Monday, October 21st, indicating that you are interested in this volunteer day.
