Join HRI on Saturday, June 16th at the annual Pink Beds BioBlitz hosted by the Cradle of Forestry. The Pink Bed BioBlitz is dedicated to identifying as many species of flora and fauna in a designated amount of time in a defined area. This event blends discovery, science and community, and allows you to become a citizen scientist. There is a full day of activities planned from morning demonstrations and activities, through the afternoon BioBlitz, into the evening with guided walks looking for bumble bees, bats, and more. Any person of any skill level is invited to attend and participate. HRI will be on hand in the morning (9:30am- 12:00pm) to talk about biological control of hemlock woolly adelgid and beneficial insects.
See more details about the BioBlitz and a full schedule of the day at the Cradle of Foestry in America website.
