Join the Hemlock Restoration Initiative for an educational hike at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 17th at the Linville River Tract of the Pisgah Game Lands. –This event was originally scheduled for 1/10, but has been postponed due to rain.–
Our 4 mile (total) out and back hike will explore forested areas before hiking alongside the Linville River and our Hemlock Conservation Area. There are a few steep sections and the hike is rated as moderate difficulty, but most of it is pretty gentle terrain along the stream.
The length of this hike will span the Mountains to Sea Connector trail coming off the Fonta Flora Trail parking area.
