Blake grew up in Bowling Green Kentucky. He attended Western Kentucky University where he majored in film. He spent the last few years in Augusta, Maine working on trails with the App Trail Conservancy. He also worked for Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards based in Asheville in 2020 and 2022. In 2018, he hiked the entire Appalachian Trail starting in Georgia and ending in Maine. He has a dog named Oliver and he likes spending time outside, and cooking vegetables seasoned with curry.
