Join HRI November 19th through the 21st for a volunteer treatment opportunity at a couple USDA Forest Service campgrounds near Mount Mitchell. These particular campgrounds are loaded with hemlocks and the trees are in beautiful shape thanks to early treatment by the Forest Service, but they are now due to be retreated. These sites are particularly appealing because the trees are easy to get to, the terrain is gentle, and the trees are plentiful, so we could use some extra hands to get them all retreated and keep this campground looking good.
