Held at the Cradle of Forestry in Pisgah National Forest, “May the Forest Be With You” celebrates past and present uses of forest resources. Local artisans will be joining the Cradle in demonstrating Appalachian cultural and modern uses of forest products. Crafters will have their locally handmade items available for purchase.

Stop by and visit the HRI at our informational booth to get all of your hemlock questions answered from 10am-4pm. Stick around to attend the HRI educational presentation that details the plight of the hemlock in the Southern Appalachians, reasons for hope and what you can do to help. The presentation will begin at 2:00pm in the Forest Discovery Center.
