Jack grew up in Hendersonville, NC before attending college at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. He graduated in May of 2025 with a B.S. in Forestry and a minor in Geospatial Technologies. This is his first season at HRI after spending time as a forestry practitioner in Waynesville and a summer camp Co-Director in Canton. In his free time, Jack loves to read, run, ski, explore swimming holes, and cheer on the UNC Tarheels during basketball season. He is excited about growing his love for conservation and restoration of hemlocks across WNC.
