A recent article in the Crossville Chronicle written by Keith Robinson highlights efforts to save hemlocks within the Fairfield Glade community in eastern Tennessee. The write up features HRI partners Jackie Broeker with the Tennessee Division of Forestry and Pat Parkman with the University of Tennessee in Knoxville who discuss the current status of hemlock trees in the area and methods used to combat the hemlock woolly adelgid infestation. Much thanks to the Chronicle and Robinson for covering this important conservation issue!
