As the holidays approach, we are feeling very thankful for all the wonderful volunteers from our recent projects. At the Camcore greenhouse in Waynesville we helped with a variety of tasks in preparation for the winter, including installing the plastic on the greenhouse, which involved many ladders and much coordination. At several treatment days at the Carolina Hemlocks and Black Mountain USFS campgrounds, we had new and seasoned volunteers help re-treat some beautiful trees that are important to the character of the campgrounds. We had three PHHAT treatment days on the Green River, including one of our largest volunteer groups with some folks driving hours to come out for the day.
