Volunteer to help hemlock researchers

When:
Where:Pisgah National Forest, outside Asheville

Our partners with NC State University and the USFS Southern Research Station are looking for a few volunteers to help them collect data for research about the best conditions for replanting hemlocks. This is a fun opportunity to help with hemlock research which may inform long-term restoration of hemlocks across the East.

They will be starting the data collection on Monday, Dec. 4 and continuing through Dec. 7 or until the work is finished, whichever comes first.
