Join us on National Public Lands Day, September 28nd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 2nd annual DuPont Forest Festival, an event celebrating the adventure, wilderness, and beauty of DuPont State Recreational Forest. The day will be full of activities and demonstrations for adults and children, including hikes, bike rides, talks, and informational booths. Information booths and most activities will be located or begin at the Guion Farm Access Area in DuPont State Forest.
HRI will be on hand all day with fun hemlock-related activities and to answer questions about hemlocks and what property owners can do to protect their trees.
